Building credibility in a single frame
There are hundreds of corporate headshot photographers in London, so what makes me different?
In short, the time and attention paid to the things that matter.
There will be some things that need to change from one client to another, but the most important things always stay the same, good lighting and connecting with the subject.
The details in the framing, background, colours, outfits, etc are decided beforehand over email or on a phone call (I offer a 30 minute consultation with each booking). This allows all the focus on the day to be on the things that matter, the things that will eventually allow your clients to trust and connect with you more.
In an increasingly digital age, your headshots will likely be the first impression that your clients and anyone thinking about working with you will use to get a feel for you and your company.
There are often so many things that we do as businesses to try and communicate to our clients and collaborators that we are trustworthy and can be taken seriously and headshots are an integral part of that.
It’s entirely about sending people a signal that you care about how you are seen and how you show up in every aspect of your business.
How you go about this is entirely up to you, some people want to be seen as serious and trustworthy with a hint of authority, others want to come of as more relaxed and approachable.
This can all be catered to, but falls flat if the images aren’t of a certain standard. That’s where picking the right photographer is important.

Before the session
Every booking includes a 15–30 minute planning call beforehand and for larger bookings I can even come to your office ahead of the shoot to look at the space and help with planning for the day of the shoot.
In the call/visit we’ll discuss:
Brand style and background preferences
Where the photos will be used (website, LinkedIn, press, internal systems)
Team size and scheduling
Dress guidance or brand colour considerations
This ensures the shoot runs smoothly on the day and that the final images not only look good, but do their job of building trust with your clients.
How it works
For simpler headshots the process is easy, I bring my fully portable set-up to your office/workspace and can photograph each team member in a couple of minutes. This can be with a range of poses and within the guidelines that we discuss ahead of the shoot.
If you want something more personal, then I can slow things down and spend longer with each person. There’s the option of doing environmental portraits, or just giving each person time to settle into the shoot and find what works best for them and therefore get the best photos out of it.
Some shoots have more time constrains than others, if you’re trying to photograph your whole company of 40+ people in a day then shorter sessions may be necessary. If it’s a smaller company, or just your senior leadership team, then we might be able to afford longer sessions.
