How it works
My sessions start at 2 hours, which, if you’ve never had a professional headshot or personal branding shoot before, can sound like a long time.
However, having done this enough times I know that the first 45 minutes you’re just starting to get more comfortable and getting used to being in front of the camera.
Then the next hour is when more of your personality starts to show up in the photos and you get more relaxed. This is when the photos get REALLY good so I want to make sure we get plenty of time in this zone.

Before the session
Every booking includes a 15-30 minute call to understand the purpose of the photos whether that’s for LinkedIn, website, press, or just general personal branding.
If there is a particular emotion that you’d like to convey, or roles that you’re currently targeting then we can plan this out to ensure the final images not only look good, but do their job.
If it is your first ever headshot session then the call will also help settle and nerves before the session and give you a clear idea of what to expect on the day.

The short answer is whatever you want. Anything that you feel comfortable and confident in will work well, but something that matches your eye colour can help them pop that little bit more.
Ideally stay away from anything that’s black or grey, but you are welcome to bring several options and we can go through them together.

If you’re wearing make-up then less is often more, something natural so that the casting director can get the best idea of how you look naturally.
Once you’ve got a couple of outfits sorted, the only other thing you need to do is stay hydrated, get a good nights sleep and the rest is up to me to help you look and feel your best.
(for the guys, give your face a good scrub with warm water and a flannel at the very least, it does a world of good)

I’ll match your energy. If you’re excited/nervous then we can start with lots of movement and work off some of that energy before getting into more serious poses. If you’re feeling particularly pensive then we can lean into that.
It entirely depends on the look you want to go for and the roles you want to attract (something which we can discuss beforehand as well).

I send over the gallery within 48 hours. The edited photos will be sent within 14 days from when you tell me which photos you’ve selected.

Yes, I send over a gallery for you to pick your favourites which usually has 40+ of the best photos from the session. Addition edits are £20 each and you can pick as many as you want.
