How it works

The best portraits all have one thing in common. Connection.

That’s why my sessions start at 2 hours. This gives enough time to settle into the session and allow parts of your personality to show through that might otherwise stay hidden in the first hour.

With all bookings I also offer a 15-30 minute call to go through what exactly it is you’re hoping for out of our session, if there is a particular emotion that you’d like to convey, or roles that you’re currently targeting.

This is incredibly useful if it is your first ever headshot session as it will give you a better feeling for what it’ll be like once you’re in the studio and settle some of those initial nerves.

If you’re a seasoned pro then I’m happy to just jump straight in with the session.

Standard session

What’s included:

2 hours in the studio or on location
5 professionally edited, high-resolution images (chosen from a gallery of 30+ photos)
Up to 4 outfit changes
£20 per image for additional edits
£150 for the whole colour graded gallery (typically 30+ photos)

What’s included:

3 hours in the studio or on location
7 professionally edited, high-resolution images (chosen from a gallery of 40+ photos)
Up to 5 outfit changes
£20 per image for additional edits
£150 for the whole colour graded gallery (typically 40+ photos)

FAQ

The short answer is whatever you want. Anything that you feel comfortable and confident in will work well, but something that you would usually be seen in when going about your day-to-day helps to set expectations with your clients/audience.
If you’re wearing make-up then less is often more, however it is entirely up to you.
Once you’ve got a couple of outfits sorted, the only other thing you need to do is stay hydrated, get a good nights sleep and the rest is up to me to help you look and feel your best.
(for the guys, at the very least give your face a good scrub with hot water and a flannel it makes all the difference on picture day)
I’ll match your energy. If you’re excited/nervous then we can start with lots of movement and work off some of that energy before getting into more serious poses. If you’re feeling particularly pensive then we can lean into that.
It entirely depends on the look you want to go for, more calm and composed or energetic and dynamic (something which we can discuss beforehand as well).
I send over the gallery within 48 hours. The edited photos will be sent within 14 days from when you tell me which photos you’ve selected.
If you would like the full colour graded gallery then that can be requested for an additional £150, or extra edits can be requested for £20 each.
